The Intraoral scanner is a technology used to obtain digital impressions. The scanner consists of a wand with imaging sensors that capture the patient’s teeth and gums as it travels around the dental arches. This information is transmitted to the computer so the models of the patient’s teeth can then be printed from a 3D printer.
